Emily + Parker - Carmel, Indiana
Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion
"I adore you and can't wait to chase the sun with you for the rest of our lives."
We had the pleasure of traveling north to Carmel, Indiana the first week of June for Emily + Parker's exciting big day!
We had been excitedly talking with Emily's father, Dave Probst, for several months leading up to their wedding day! We always love when our bride & groom's parents are just as excited, if not more, about their wedding films! It's the best! The Probsts were the kindest family you could ever wish to work with...we felt like we hit the jackpot with them!
A few weeks before their big day, we finally had the honor of getting to meet Emily and Parker via Skype...and from that second on we were just over the moon with excitement! These two are the kind of people who make everyone feel like their best friend. Their big, huge hearts and infectious joy. We already loved them a whole big bunch!
We arrived that Friday morning to the bride's home, where she and her bridesmaids were getting their pictures taken by the very talented Tessa Tillett Photography. Moments after we arrived to their beautiful home, it was finally time for Emily to slip into her dress so that she could be on her way to see Parker for the very first time!
There were so many emotions as Emily's sweet sisters, Jackie and Jessica, lead her down the stairs to where her parents were anxiously waiting to see their little girl for the very first time dressed head to toe as a bride!
What a precious moment as they shared hugs, excitement, laughter, sweet words, and a few tears.
We were then on our way to Dillon Park, where Parker was anxiously awaiting Emily's arrival!
Parker and Emily. It doesn't get any sweeter...it just doesn't.
A joy-filled first-look and a priceless reaction from the groom as he turned around and saw his bride for the very first time.
We trekked all over the park for the next few hours grabbing stunning shots of the two being their natural selves -- super in love and super goofy -- and then it was about that time to head to the church finally get them married!
Their ceremony was held at Carmel Lutheran Church, just a short drive away. Their ceremony was personal and beautiful. The couple lit a unity candle, their sisters sweetly sang together, they exchanged hugs with their closest family members, and promised their lives to one another before God and those they love the most.
They were soon pronounced Mr & Mrs. Meyers and made their exit out of the church as everyone blew bubbles and cheered!
Guests were then invited to continue celebrating with them at the gorgeous Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion.
Y'all, I don't think we have ever loved a wedding venue more! This gorgeous greenhouse-esque building is beautifully hidden right off the highway and with it's glass exterior- allowed for some amazing natural light as the sun was setting that evening. It was a videographer's dream come true!
The venue was beautifully decorated from top to bottom, the caterers at the Ritz Charles made sure every guest was served, and Sunny Moon DJ did a wonderful job with creating a cheerful, fun atmosphere on the dance-floor.
Emily and Parker were even able to surprise their parents with a sweet performance of "93 Million Miles " by Jason Mraz that they sang and played together.
It was such a beautiful surprise and a sweet reminder for each of them, that though they will be facing new adventures, including a couple of big moves, that no matter where their marriage, jobs, and life may lead them- "you can always come back home."
We ended up being able to celebrate with Emily & Parker (due to some unfortunate car issues on our end) until the very end of the night - which was amazing and only meant that we had more time spent with such amazing people! Being able to capture their fun sparkler exit was just the cherry on top of the most perfect day!
Emily and Parker, we wish you only the very best as you begin this new adventure! Thank you for choosing us to tell the story of your day...the story of you.
We pray this film serve as a reminder to you for years to come that love is an adventure.
